ECC and Winline Technology Deepen Strategic Partnership to Accelerate EV Charging Infrastructure in the Middle East

Last week, Energy Care Company (ECC) visited Winline Technology’s facilities in China, marking a significant step forward in implementing the strategic cooperation agreement signed by both parties at the SASG-2024 Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in December 2024. The visit focused on the construction and operation of an electric vehicle charging station (EVCS) production line at their jointly developed manufacturing facility—signaling the transition from strategic intent to concrete action in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region’s green mobility landscape.

The smart equipment facility jointly developed by ECC and Winline Technology has successfully achieved key project milestones. Product lines for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are now undergoing full-scale commissioning. A dedicated area within the factory has been reserved for EVCS assembly, testing, and validation. Procurement orders for related equipment have already been placed with Winline Technology, and system integration and testing are scheduled to commence upon delivery.

These developments lay a solid foundation for the localized, large-scale production of EVCS solutions in Saudi Arabia. The deepening collaboration between ECC and Winline Technology represents not only a powerful synergy of technological strength and market expertise, but also a shared commitment to advancing the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and its green transformation agenda.

Looking ahead, we will continue to drive innovation and embrace localization, combining “Chinese technology” with “Saudi efficiency” to support the region’s transition toward electric mobility. Together, ECC and Winline Technology aim to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions for sustainable transportation across the Middle East and beyond.
