Winline Technology Commissions Jordan’s First Integrated “PV-Storage-Charging-DC-Flexible” Microgrid Project, Supporting Local Zero-Carbon Energy Development

Winline Technology is proud to announce the successful commissioning of its first overseas “PV-Storage-Charging-DC-Flexible” smart microgrid station in Jordan. Constructed in collaboration with a local partner, with Winline providing the entire system’s products and technical support, this project marks a significant milestone in Winline Technology’s global expansion and contributes to Jordan’s zero-carbon energy goals.

Jordan, a key nation in the Middle East, has been actively promoting energy structure transformation, as outlined in its *Jordan Energy Sector Comprehensive Strategy (2020-2030)*. Aligning with this national strategy, Winline Technology’s demonstration station features a DC microgrid at its core. Key equipment includes PCS conversion and DC distribution control cabinets, DCDC energy storage cabinets, DCDC chargers, charging terminals, and PV input units—forming a complete and reliable zero-carbon energy ecosystem. Critical self-developed DCDC modules like the UXC10040 and UXC95050B are deployed within the system.

Operating primarily in off-grid mode, the system prioritizes power generation from photovoltaic panels and energy storage, adhering to a “PV-first, dynamic capacity expansion” strategy. Compared to traditional AC-coupled architectures, the DC microgrid significantly enhances overall energy efficiency by minimizing AC-DC conversion steps. A centralized DC bus and an intelligent Energy Management System (EMS) enable rapid and precise responses to various operational conditions, ensuring high efficiency, reliability, and economic operation through real-time control and predictive optimization.

The project’s daily PV power generation adequately meets local green energy demands, substantially reducing operational costs and creating a win-win scenario for the investor, the local community, and the environment.
